Privacy notice

This notice explains how Ares Co. handles the personal information you send through our advertising enquiry form, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

Your name, business name, email address, phone number (if given), what you want to promote, preferred platforms, budget range, timing and your message. For security we also briefly process your IP address to block spam and abuse (a spam check by Cloudflare Turnstile, and short-term rate limiting).

Why we collect it

Only to respond to your enquiry. We don't sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

Where it's stored

Enquiries are stored in a Cloudflare database linked to this website and a copy is emailed to our Ares Co. inbox ([email protected]), using Cloudflare's email service.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 6 months after you send your enquiry, then delete them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
